Overview

Welcome to ColorStar! These Terms of Service (the "Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and HBC Studio ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the ColorStar application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any of these Terms, please do not use the App.

Service Description

ColorStar is a professional color tool app that provides the following features:

• Browse color libraries including Chinese traditional colors, Japanese traditional colors, and more
• Camera and photo library color picker
• AI-powered color matching
• Create and manage palettes and color cards
• Share and export color cards
• iCloud data sync (Pro members)

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or terminate any part or all of the App's features at any time without prior notice.

Account & Usage

The App's basic features can be used without account registration. Your data is stored locally on your device, and Pro members can sync data via iCloud.

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the App
• Not interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App in any way
• Not use the App to transmit any illegal, harmful, harassing, or infringing content
• Not attempt unauthorized access to the App's servers or systems

Subscription Services

Subscription Plans

The App offers ColorStar Pro premium subscription services, including the following plans:

• Weekly Subscription: Auto-renews weekly
• Monthly Subscription: Auto-renews monthly
• Annual Subscription: Auto-renews annually, may include a free trial period

Free Trial

The annual subscription may offer a free trial period. After the free trial expires, a paid subscription will automatically begin unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends. Any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

Payment & Renewal

• Subscription fees are charged through the payment method linked to your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions automatically renew within 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the fee for the next period will be charged to your account.
• Subscription prices may change, and we will notify you in advance. If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

Cancellation

• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• After cancellation, you can continue to use Pro features until the end of the current paid period.
• No refund will be provided for the current billing period upon cancellation.

Refund Policy

All purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. For refunds, please contact Apple Support at: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot process refund requests directly.

Intellectual Property

The App and all its content (including but not limited to interface design, icons, illustrations, animations, code, and text) are the intellectual property of HBC Studio, protected by copyright law and international intellectual property laws.

You retain intellectual property rights to user content you create using the App, such as color cards and palettes. However, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

Cultural content referenced in the App, such as Chinese traditional colors and Japanese traditional colors, including associated poetry and historical references, is provided for reference and educational purposes only.

AI Features

The App provides AI-powered color matching features supported by third-party artificial intelligence services. Please note:

• AI-generated color schemes are for reference only; we do not guarantee their accuracy or suitability.
• Your text descriptions will be sent to third-party services for processing.
• Do not include any sensitive personal information in AI inputs.
• The availability of AI features depends on the operational status of third-party services, and we do not guarantee their continuous availability.

Disclaimer

• The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the App will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
• Due to network environments, device differences, and other factors, the actual performance of the App may differ from descriptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of HBC Studio and its affiliates for any loss or damage arising from the use of this App shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you through in-app notifications or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, please discontinue use of the App.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction.
